Kemp Forum

The Kemp Forum is a debate and discussion series providing a platform for the civil competition of ideas. Based on the premise that ideas, like athletes, become sharper in competition, the Kemp Forum examines cutting edge public policy questions through the kind of restless, spirited debate that Jack Kemp practiced from the heart.

Kemp Forum Welcomes New Members of Congress

The first Kemp Forum, for new members of Congress and their families, was hosted by Representative Dan Lungren at the Capitol Visitors Center in January of 2011.  Two former Members and their wives – Bob and Bonnie Livingston (R-LA) and Jim and Linda Slattery (D-KS) – joined Joanne (Mrs. Jack) Kemp to share their insights, wisdom and lively opinion on how best to serve both family and country while in Congressional office.

Note:  This was a private event.
