10th Anniversary Celebration

“To develop, engage and recognize exceptional leaders who champion the American Idea.” This has been the singular mission and privilege of the Jack Kemp Foundation since our founding in 2009.  To celebrate our ten-year anniversary, and the people, events and ideas that have inspired us, we are hosting our annual Kemp Leadership Award Dinner on November 19 at the International Spy Museum.

During the evening, Representative Will Hurd will deliver the keynote address. He sits on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where his past service as an operations officer in the Clandestine Service of the CIA gives him unique personal and professional insights into the world of espionage and the role of intelligence in our democracy.

Additionally, past awardees Senator Tim Scott, Senator Marco Rubio and Speaker Paul Ryan will be there to offer personal reflections on leadership and the American Idea.  This panel discussion will be moderated by Representative Elise Stefanik. During the evening, we will also pay tribute to the late Librarian of Congress James Billington.

Each of our past Kemp Leadership awardees bears witness to America's great promise: “If you were born to be a master carpenter, or a mezzo-soprano—or even a pro football player—” as Jack Kemp said, “here in America you could make it…”
